Grand Hotel Des Terreaux

Had an excellent stay in September, glad I've chosen it. The double room had basic facilities you need, a safe, central heating, and a work desk. The location was marvellous, 0.5 km to Lyon-Bron airport, perfectly reachable. There was an excellent restaurant not very far from the hotel.

It offers perfect service. It has secure parking, coffee bar.

The place was reasonably clean and we loved superior double room. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and good heating and a safe box inside the room. Very central location right by Place des Terreaux and shopping areas, the centre of Lyon and the magnificent roman museum, it was in a local area. Plus, Saint Mary's Cathedral was located in the immediate surroundings.

My single room was neat and practical in the interior patio. The hotel offered a varied breakfast with fresh fruits, a croissant plus baguettes. Very pleasant staff and the location was marvellous and lovely. Furthermore, the area was really cool.

The hotel was in an excellent location, in between the two rivers.

The bedroom was air conditioned and stylish. The hotel had a very central setting in the centre of the city.

Handy setting in the very pleasant area, close to Beaux Arts museum, city centre and a cave right beside the restaurant. Plus, walking distance to Saint-Jean.

Overall it was extremely pleasant and comfortable quiet, with a private bathroom.

The area was extremely busy.

The bedroom was well-designed and updated. The breakfast at the hotel was rich and delicious with many options. The location was excellent in between the two rivers and the staff here was amazingly kind and accommodating.

Ideal location just next door to many sights and attractions, cafes and restaurants, and the Opera and metro station, and fresh made and generous breakfast. And right next to Dean Village.

Had a pleasant stay in September. The superior king room I got was practical. Freshly cooked breakfast with many options, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel had a perfectly comfortable and handy location right in dining area. Moreover, it's close enough to Part-Dieu railway station as well as the museum of beau arts, close to restaurants and cafes.

The hotel was clean and staff were very kind, everything was good. The property's location was very central, very close to cafes & restaurants. All the dishes were high quality, nevertheless you can visit nearby Lockhouse. There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms and the service in general was excellent. I spent 6 nights here and liked that.

My favourite property in Lyon. Atmospheric, reasonably clean place with great views. Amazing, fantastic location short walk to the centre of a really cool area. Also, to the bathrooms to the restaurant.

We would recommend the place to anyone. Hotel is reasonably clean and charming. The rooms are surprisingly large and very well furnished, the bar is adjoining. We really enjoyed very, very nice and really kind personnel that ensures guests have a really great stay. Its location is great, close to cafés and bars. You can relax at Le Jeu de Quilles, located nearby. The restaurant is nice and the food is high quality.

This hotel is gorgeous, it offers welcoming services and has exceptional staff. Their breakfast option with juice, a croissant and yoghurts is rich and delicious, put others we have been to shame!

The hotel was charming small and luxurious. Booked an extremely pleasant and comfortable quiet room with an additional kid bed and bathrobes.

A nice stay, I would definitely return. This hotel is brilliant and has practical rooms with amazingly attentive staff.

The venue is perfect and exceptionally comfortable with accommodating stuff. It has marvellous and lovely location only a short distance to Lyon National Opera. The coffee bar makes the hot drinks.

Their rooms are always stylish and practical with aircon, separate toilets, for example.

The venue was in a very central location close enough to a brand new museum built over the Roman remains housing spectacular mosaics, shops, cafe's restaurants, transport and local tourist activities and many historical and cultural sites. There was Dam's Pub, located nearby, where we relaxed.

Overall, it's excellent home base for exploring Lyon attractions. The location it offers is handy, so close to offer-shops, restaurants, sights, and Beach.

The location is ideal and EXCELLENT, very close to cafes & restaurants. And it's nestled in a very cute building short walk to vieux Lyon, the oldest part of the city, Very close to bars and a brand new museum built over the Roman remains housing spectacular mosaics and frescoes. The lobby bar offers hot drinks.

Thoroughly enjoyed the double room with comfy bed, wouldn't mind staying there all day. I got varied and delicious breakfast with yoghurts and a croissant.

Facilities were fantastic, however Wi-Fi was very poor.

Huge and practical units with bedroom, old walls, for instance, exceptional employees. Terrific customer service provided.

The breakfasts were satisfactory and varied with baguettes. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, provided excellent services. The location was very central, really close to the shopping area.

The pool was great and I had warm drinks in the coffee bar. The hotel was close enough to sightseeing as well as the center of the old city thanks to its marvellous location.

Location: the hotel was so close to the centre, walking distance to the old city and other attractions, and other sights. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Le Jeu de Quilles. The breakfast was generous with many options, and all the food was fab.

The location of the hotel was unbeatable - within walking distance of The Boat.

Tbh, had a nice stay in September. The hotel was a great place for enjoying a nice enough area, next to the center and the Museum. The room was fashionable and spotless in the interior patio - we enjoyed it...

Facilities and staff were high quality, and the public parking was provided. We really loved our coffee with goodies at Diploid. This hotel is equal to 4 stars.

A double bed was a bonus. Such main attractions as basilique notre dame de were next to this hotel. Having a pool and the lobby bar was a bonus.
